Zoom comments and requests

It is great to see that zoom works in 0.0.53. Could this feature be enhanced allow me to zoom OUT more?
I also want to be able to set the default zoom level to something a little wider (zoomed out) than the default is right now.
(The control for zooming speed doesn't seem important to me. I don't know if other people will find it useful, but I would only want to have it set to the slowest speed. Otherwise it moves too quickly.)

I just saw that the new (0.0.53) version supports zoom in the XML file! Great, thanks! I'll go try it now. :-)
